Before You Book
Confirm European travel is included on your booking. Not every vehicle category or rental length qualifies, so declare your intentions when you get a quote so cover and documentation are arranged correctly.
Essential Documents
- Full UK driving licence — check expiry dates well in advance.
- Proof of insurance valid for your destination countries.
- Vehicle registration documents (VE103) where required.
- Passport or ID for all drivers.
On the Road Abroad
Research local speed limits, toll systems and low-emission zones at your destination. Carry a warning triangle and high-visibility vest if required. In many EU countries you will also need headlight beam deflectors.
